There is something about standing by still water that is so relaxing. My paintings are inspired by walking by and swimming in the waters of Devon's sea and rivers. When the water is still the sense of peace that flows through me is incredible. Whilst painting this picture I was filled with calm as blue met blue and simple brish strokes flowed together to create a picture of peace.
