Light in the Darkness

We need the dark to know the light and in those times of darkness the glimmers of light can give us comfort. This painting was inspired by standing in darkness on the foreshore of the Exe estuary and looking out at the shining lights of Exmouth and  Starcross in Devon. There is always light somewhere.
