Glimmer

A glimmer is a small moment that sparks joy or peace and makes a positive impact on our mental health. I like to think that the blues embrace the stillness and peace of a gently ebbing tide. Light is shimmering on the water creating calm and giving us a chance to reflect and steady the mind. In a busy world, times like these are so precious.

Calm Water

I swim, all year round, in many coves, lakes and rivers throughout Devon and Cornwall. I find a silken thread of magical calm connects them all. The water holds you when you most need it and lets you just be, in that moment. Standing on a foreshore and watching the water brings a similar sense of calm.

Lympstone Washing Lines

This print captures the iconic view of the River Exe as seen through the Lympstone washing lines. Now used for daily washing, their history lies in Lympstone's fishing heritage and would have had nets drying on the foreshore of the Exe. I love to sit and watch the water in this place.

Silver Light on the Water

I love to stand and watch the waters of the Exe estuary in Devon. The sight of silver light mirrored in the water is one of nature's greatest gifts. This print will take you to those moments of calm you feel when pausing and taking in the big sky and distant horizon.
